Tree Surgeons who get the job done right!
We take health and safety very seriously. We will have a discussion about the risks involved before any work is undertaken. This allows us to identify any potential threats to yourself, our staff, and the property. Some of the Health and Safety Regulations we follow:
  • Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002)
  • PUWER (Provision and Use of Equipment Regulations 1992)
  • LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998)
We will also perform an analysis on all conservation aspects before starting to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. For example, nesting birds are protected by legislation. Bats are also protected by two acts of parliament. These regulations include:
  • Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
  • The Conservation (Natural Habitats) Regulations 1994
All of our staff are fully qualified and insured with a detailed knowledge of different legislation and regulations in Arboriculture. These include but are not limited to:
  • The Town & Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997
  • Forestry Act 1967
  • BS 3998:2010 "Tree Work – Recommendations"
  • BS 8545:2014 "Trees: from nursery to independence in the landscape – Recommendations"
  • New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991
  • Work at Height Regulations 2005
